Story behind the new way..

from my diary directly:

Gawd I love Julia Cameron! "Writing can be earthy" and "Do it on the road!" It must be "comfortable". Its like she read my song and is singing it to me, like that song "Killing me Softly" like that proverb on a good friend being the one that knows the song in your heart and singing it to you when your memory fails.
God I love the rhythm of this pen. Way to go, Reynolds! May they always make your pens!
"Writing is fun" - something as "basic", as "instinctual" as that. Something as simple. It goes with the flow, with the grain, the tao of chi ---> that's going to be the new blog title. Yay! And I always had it there - I had forgotten what I had wanted to rename it cos "The Road Less Travelled" was so impersonal, so overused, so "travelled" it has become an oxymoron! Glad I found my own way - and incidentally 'tao' means "the way" and this one shall be mine! :) Adds a lot more honesty and personality to it. I didn't realise but personal and personality come from the same root. Like Cameron says, "It is impossible to be honest and boring at the same time". I shall not worry anymore about entertaining my reader - I'll just be honest! Yay, just a bit of writing along the Nile - this is so PERFECT - and I come out with all this. I am so glad, also, that Angie is so wonderful about it, so sympathetic, "I am so glad you found your spot to reflect/write". I'm so glad I found her, too.

Hi John,

Thank you for your words, and the website. I did find some useful information on "Chi". Incidentally, that is a nickname :).

Hope I see you again around here.

I'm soooooooooo SAD!!!
I guess I'm turning into my depression mood again..
It seems like it's happening too frequently these days though..

I was looking for blogs about tai chi and came across yours. I have whats referred to as a hard style Karate School and this is something we've been contemplating adding to it. Great blog you have and I've enjoyed reading the posts on it.
