off on the trip

..better believe it, I have to tell myself, I'll be on that plane late tomorrow night, going to the States. Somehow, I thought it would be far away, and I can't believe I'm already here a couple of days from the exam. Feel like a bird who has to fall from her nest in a tree, and just fly.... Air France has "Hindu" meals... maybe that will make my flight as convenient as possible ;)

surprise!

i'm alive, only studying. hehe.

i cannot believe i'll be giving exams, THREE EXAMS, between oct 18 and 28 :'(.

Then again, I'll also be holidaying from Oct. 28 to Nov. 5 in CALI!!! It will be great, insha Allah. So, if anyone want anything to be transported in to/from the mean recesses of my suitcase, ask now... or forever hold your bits (as wee might pun! ;)) Weeaam, ala fikra you should read Pnin by Nabokov, he says to himself "oh you punster, Pnin!"

Anyhow, the weather in Cairo is mercifully edging towards the cooler, but it leaves you a bit bewildered with its changes, (ahem - like Israeli news?) (my first political venture in the entire blog I presume..). but I don't know what it is with their arrest of 13 UN workers linked to militancy and then reports of bombs found at another place and whatnot. Dear BBC, my beacon is also a bit confused, whereas Jacques Lacan is finally becoming more lucid to me.

I'm loving reading up on Psychoanalysis for my lit. exam; *dreams for future careers in psychology... *

mwahs to everyone out there, do drop in a word!

oh and its 6th Oct. The big bridge day of Cairo.
